(That are scratching out my brain?)

Those words come out of my mouth like poison entering your
veins.

Once I get away I scream to the voices that call my name.

(Why? Why is this happening?)

I pull out my hair in frustration.

I see figures coming out through the shadows of the walls.

My face hits the pavement.

I open my eyes to find that I'm in darkness.

A figure stands there unmoving.

I push myself up with ache in my bones.

I move in closer to the shadowy figure.
